Dicided to take part in an interesting challenge for 2023(or as much as I can), the Dungeon 23 challenge put forth by Sean McCoy on twitter. A room a day to complete a mega dungeon for the year. Decided to brak it up into 7 rooms per level, instead of the month a level format.
Week 1 shows the city district above the dungeon with a more dungeon crawler inspired model than the TTRPG dungeons. Within this district is a cathedral where the Deities can provide buffs and blessings, and the priests can resurect the fallen adventurures from the dungeon. Shops and a tavern exist for the adventures needs, as well as a guard house for local safety. The Dungeon itself is managed by an adventures guild and only with their blessing can one delve into it's depths.
The guild issues a token to each adventurer that monitors the individuals life force. Appon their demise a guild employee can retrieve the adventurer and revive them with the aid of the priest, for a small sum. that being any non essential item the individual has picked up from the dungeon, allowing them to start again.
